Maynard stepped down after Glamorgan brought in former county wicketkeeper Colin Metson over him into a new post as managing director of cricket and South Africa batsman Alviro Petersen replaced Jamie Dalrymple as captain.
Maynard, who rejoined Glamorgan after a stint as Englands batting coach under Duncan Fletcher, had sought legal advice about a possible claim for constructive dismissal but he has now reached an amicable agreement with the county.
The club greatly appreciates the hard work and dedication provided by Matthew during his time at Glamorgan, said Glamorgan chief executive Alan Hamer.
We were very sorry to lose him and he will be missed at the club by all those who were fortunate enough to play or work with him.
I would like to wish him all the very best for the future.
